This collection of paintings was inspired by the feeling that radiates from the invigorating warmth of the mums basking in the midday sunlight. To take a feeling and archive it was the mission. If you look into the paintings you see the softness of the colors how they blend with the shadows of the lush foliage. You get the sense of warmth from the light reflecting off the flower petals. You can almost feel the bouncing of the mound of garden mums. Natures sensory bin. It is truly therapeutic. Each piece has its own unique characteristics as does each mounding mum I touch and see in my own garden.
